Installing the dash cam with a hard wire kit also frees up the accessory socket in the vehicle and allows power cables to be hidden for a discreet installation. A firmware update for G4KDVR20 Dash Cam is required to enable park mode feature, instructions for this process are included with this hard wire cable kit.
